Tours and workshops
Group tours are by appointment, Tuesday through Fridays (and Monday by special request), 8:30 am – 12:00 pm / 1:30 pm – 6:30 pm.
For further information go to mediation@villaduparc.org
Interactive tours are free with a yearly institutional subscription (school, association, recreational center, etc.) to the Villa du Parc Association. You can download here the membership form.
Art center docents are available to answer your specific questions. How to approach a work of art can be seen from a number of angles, as a matter of art history, a question of technique, etc. Feel free to ask questions to prepare your visit to the show.
For each of its shows, La Villa du Parc publishes an accompanying gallery guide of the featured artworks that provides you with lots of information about the project on view along with the biography of the artist(s). The texts help you to situate yourself from one gallery to the next with a map of the exhibition layout and the artworks on view, while offering more detailed information on each piece that takes the place of traditional wall labels.
Please let us know if you are interested in a self-guided tour and its accompanying brochure.
Wednesday through Sunday, 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, free admission
For further information: mediation@villaduparc.org
Three tours are programed throughout the run of each show – days and times will vary. These tours are led by a Villa du Parc docent and sometimes are a chance to meet the exhibition curator and/or the artist or artists involved (guided tours run on average 90 min.).

Throughout the school year, our exhibitions can be used as an educational tool that becomes an integral part of school programs in the fine arts and more generally the visual arts. But contemporary artworks involve a number of fields that largely go beyond any purely artistic framework and draw on all scholarly disciplines, from literature and history, to geography, science, and more. Touring an exhibition, in this or that exchange with an artist or docent, students of all ages develop their eye, stumble on a surprising piece of art, learn, and examine what they know or think they know through the many questions raised by the approaches taken by today’s artists.

Exhibition tours are adapted to all official groups, including workers’ groups, associations, recreation centers, clubs, etc.
